Fighting for Fiscal Responsibility

As a small business owner for 30 years, I am very conscious of the need for a balanced budget. That is why I have been a strong advocate of pay-as-you-go budgeting to control Washington spending and have cosponsored, introduced and helped pass legislation that makes the federal government more fiscally responsible.

As we continue to recover from the worst economic downturn in 80 years, it is more important than ever that the government be held accountable for the use of taxpayer dollars and I will continue to fight for these core economic values.
