Kosmas Campaign Responds to Club for Growth's Misleading Ad
New Smyrna Beach, FL - The Kosmas for Congress campaign today responded to the misleading television advertisements sponsored by the extreme outside group, Club for Growth.
"Misleading attacks, particularly ones coming from a group like the Club for Growth that is known to lack any credibility, epitomize what's wrong with Washington today. The claims made in this ad about Suzanne Kosmas are completely false and Floridians will see this ad for what it really is - a desperate attempt to distract and mislead voters," said Shripal Shah, Kosmas Campaign Communications Director.
While serving in the State Legislature, Kosmas voted to cut taxes six times, including voting to increase a tax exemption for disabled veterans and to cut taxes for small businesses to spur job creation.
"Suzanne Kosmas consistently voted to cut taxes while serving as a member of the State Legislature, a total of six times. And as a small business owner, Kosmas understands what it really means to be fiscally conservative and balance our budgets. Tom Feeney has supported record deficits and billions sent to Iraq and his reckless spending policies have helped create our current economic turmoil."
